Would you be willing to pray?

Friends in blog-land, it is with a heavy heart that I come to you today asking if you'd be willing to join with me in prayer for a dear, sweet, sister-in-the-Lord?????

I've known Becky, and her family for close to 15 years and although it's been years since we've seen each other, they've remained close to my heart. Becky and her husband are currently Assembly of God pastors in NC, and our paths crossed many, many years ago while my husband and I pastored an A/G church in Wisconsin.

For many years, the Smiths traveled across the country on the Evangelistic field, sharing Jesus with thousands of people.

Their world was turned upside down in May of 2002 when their sweet six year old daughter Sarah was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma. Sarah has remained in remission and is a BEAUTIFUL testimony of God's healing power.

Becky currently has been seeing a doctor for tests checking for breast cancer. Today, she received the following information:

"There are "sifnificant abnormalities" in BOTH breasts that are "statistically highly suspicious of malignancy."

BOTH breasts.

That means that if it is cancer (and at this point, it looks like it is) it's not contained. It's already spread. The nurse on the phone mentioned breast surgeons, core needle biopsies, lumpectemies, and masectemies as things that will need to be considered as we walk this path.

Blog-friends, will you join my in prayer? Will you stand in the gap for Becky and her sweet family???? They've been through SO much....and sweet Becky really needs to feel Jesus' Love, and Peace during this time!

Isaiah 41:13 says,
For I am the LORD, your God,
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you.

  1. Kim, I will be praying for Becky and her family. If she needs someone to visit with about it, or some hope, I have a friend who was diagnosed at 38 and has been cancer free for 16 years now, and hers had metastacized. She is very encouraging if Becky needs a hopeful word. I can speak of some of the trial myself though my scares were all just that, not the real thing. I do know how to pray for her right now though through this and as a mom. I know your heart is heavy, but not without hope. He is our Healer. annie

  4. OH yes Kim...I am on my knees for your friend, Becky! God's healing power has already been seen in their family though Sarah! God is The Great I AM! I will be fervently lifting her to the Father for divine healing of all of her body...strength for the journey ahead of her and abundant faith to rely upon! May God's grace be completely sufficient for all of her needs and may His hand touch her in a mighty way is my prayer!
    Standing in the gap,

  5. Thankfully we serve a good GOD, and He is still the great physician. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Just as the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of His garment and was made whole, Becky too is already healed.

Isaiah 53:5 "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we ARE healed."

Philippians 2:8-11 "And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Cancer is just a name, but the Name of JESUS is above every other name! Glory to GOD! He not only can heal her but it is His will that Becky be healed. It's not GOD'S will for anyone to be sick or diseased, that's a curse that is strictly from the devil. Satan we bind you in the Name of JESUS off of Becky's body. We command you to flee right now. We claim health and wholeness over Becky's body. Becky is the daughter of the King, your LORD! We rebuke you and every influence you try to put onto this family...take your sickness and demonic influences and GO NOW IN JESUS NAME! We will not sit idle, no devil we serve a good GOD and we are here to tear up your playhouse. This is GOD'S child & you have no right to her. Body...we command you right now in the Name of JESUS to line yourself up with the Word and be healed now! The Word of GOD already has the ending for this...VICTORY! So we claim it right now in JESUS mighty name. We thank You LORD for Your Blood that heals, Your Blood that restores, Your Blood that covers and protects us. Father we thank You in advance for Becky's healing and we give you all glory and honor for it. We don't listen to the voice of doubt and unbelief, we only hear the voice of Truth! By the power in the Blood Becky's body is healed! Glory to GOD!!

Satan you imp, we command you pay back 7 times what you are trying to steal from Becky and her family. That's right, this is the year of overflow blessing! The first thing man (Adam) heard GOD speak was the blessing, and we are walking in that blessing right now! You have to take your nasty hands off their finances, off their peace, off their joy, off their health, off of everything. Thank You LORD that what is written in Your living Word are promises to us that we can cling to but they are prophecy to You! Hallelujah! We claim healing in Becky's body 3 times faster and give You all glory for it. In JESUS Mighty Name ~ Amen!
