Thankful Thursday~

This past week has been so busy, and at times it seems like a blur, yet, through it all, God has revealed so much for me to be Thankful for on this Thurday.

~I'm so Thankful that Ashley has arrived home, safe and sound. What joy it brings to my heart to have her home, enjoying that fact that she so completes our family of four.

~I'm so Thankful that God is ALWAYS faithful, even when I'm not. The older I get, the more I realize that in my failures, God is still complete...and all that I need.

~I'm so Thankful for God's faithfulness to provide for our family.

~I'm so Thankful that this month we will be celebrating Easter. There is so much to ponder, and think about during the Easter season, and I'm so looking forward to the celebration.

~I'm so Thankful for family and friends who will be joining us on Saturday to Welcome Home Ashley. I'm looking forward to this sweet time of fellowship.

~I'm so Thankful that God has laid a message on Ashley's heart to share with our church body on Sunday. Please be in prayer for her as she prepares her heart!

~I'm so Thankful for the LOVE of my heavenly Father.

~And, I'm so Thankful...for each of my friends in blogville!!!

So, what are you Thankful for today? If you want to read more Thankful Thursdays, stop by Iris!

Have a BLESSED Thursday!!

  3. Kim,
What a treasure your daughter is. You are SOOO blessed.

I have a dear friend who used to work at the YWAM in Maui. She still lives there but can't go to places like Thailand anymore because of health issues. I always heard the most wonderful things about their DTS. The YWAM school here in Wisconsin just got back from Thailand too. Wonder if they were on the same trip?

On another note, I heard the Timberwolves basketball game didn't go quite as planned. I thought of you guys. Hope your son still enjoyed the game. :)

  9. Kim,
I bet you are loving having your daughter home. Did you go for those manicures and pedicures yet? My college girl is coming home tonight for a visit. Only an overnight though, she has to work tomorrow evening. Her school is only 2 1/2 hours away but she doesn't get home very often. She also informed me that she won't be here for Easter this year since it falls at the end of Spring Break. I am trying hard not to be too disappointed. Really I want to ground her for Spring Break but I don't think that works when they are away at school, LOL!

Take care and enjoy your girl,
    ~~Kelley

  10. Praise God Kim that Ashley is home safe and sound. Undoubtedly she is a different young lady than the one that left 8 months ago. I look forward to reading more about how God has worked in her life during this mission trip. For now, you just enjoy having both your children under your roof again.

  11. That is a good list of all to be thankful for and especially Ashley's coming home safe. That is the best. It still amazes me how these young people have such a heart for the Lord. Just amazing to watch this movement.

  12. Gosh, I can't imagine the boys being away at school. I'm REALLY going to have to find something to keep myself busy when they start to "leave the nest." =-)

I can't wait to hear how GOD speaks to Ashley.

    Love,
    Tonya

In all seriousness, though, your comment blessed me. And I truly have been blessed by your blog. I need to read about women who are giving their lives, their hearts, their children to the Lord.
    Blessings, sweet Kim!!!
