One of my all time favorite scripture verses is found in Psalms 50:15 and it says,
"Call upon me in your day of trouble; and I will deliver you, and you will honor me."
Today, if you are facing a tough situation, remember that as you call upon HIS name, he WILL deliver you.
My prayer is that this songs ministers to you today!!

I love Third Day and this a powerful song with a comforting message. I get goose bumps when I think about what it is saying. Just call His name and He'll be there! WoW! I am so glad you shared today Kim it has blessed me!

Kelley
Loved the song. "Call my name, say it now. I want you to never doubt" Isn't that the truth?
ReplyDeleteKim~
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post and this song. I've heard it plenty of times before, but listening in the quiet of my home this morning on my little, pitiful lap top speakers . . . it ministers . . . it pierces my sad, lonely little heart.
So thank you, friend, for inciting worship first thing in my morning before I've even spoken a word aloud to anyone.
Have a blessed weekend, friend.

for blessing me!
Kim,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great song; so powerful.
Also, on your post below, isn't it sad how we often let "self" get in the way. Great message you've written.
A couple of weeks ago I came over here after seeing a comment on another blog thanking this person for kind words and praying for your Dad.
I pray your Dad is doing well. I saw at the time I came over that your Dad has cancer. I lost my Dad almost 8 years ago to cancer and now we are on this cancer journey once again with my younger sister who has an aggressive brain cancer.
Here is a link to a 9 minute video of Hillsong where they are talking about some of their worship and the song "Healer." Mike from Hillsong has been battling an aggressive cancer for 2 years. I think anyone who sees this video will be blessed, but especially someone who has been or are in the midst of cancer with themselves or someone in their family.
I hope this video touches you as it has me.

May you be blessed today and always!

Thank you for the message and for sharing such a beautiful song, I truely appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good song. It is sad to think that so many people are lonely, sad, and hurting. Isn't it great that all we have to do is "just call My name".
ReplyDelete"It's been so long since you felt like you've been loved". As soon as I heard that first line, I lost it!! Here I sit sobbing. This song is my life right now. But if I call HIS name, He will be here. There is so much pain, but only He can take it away and He wants to.
ReplyDeleteHow great is that?
You have a way of picking songs that just make me come undone. But it's a good thing, I need to let it out.
Love ya,
Sheryl
Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed my visit tonight.
ReplyDeleteHey Kim,
ReplyDeleteIt seems cancer is everywhere. How wonderful that your Dad is doing well. PTL, indeed.
I have a question. My cousin has CLL also. She has been on a oral chemo for some time. I think she started out taking it daily. Her levels came down quickly. I can't recall, but I think after getting her levels in the normal range, her oncologist either discontinued the chemo or went to a less frequent dosing, i.e., once weekly. Her levels jumped back up. She is now on this oral chemo twice weekly. They haven't been able to get her maintained. It seems each month they rise a bit. He recommended she go on a new clinical trial.
Okay, so my question is, has your Dad been able to get be maintained on the oral chemo?
Thanks, and thanks for visiting my blog.
I'm so thankful we have our precious Lord as Life is too difficult without Him. I don't know how people who do not know Christ walk this journey of Life.
Blessings!
Cheryl
