This truly has been a roller coast ride of emotions over the past 24 hours. We’ve meet with the cardiologist team and soon the neurologist team.
We learned this morning that the details shared by the dr last night were premature and should not have happened. Per our conversations today it is to early to determine how Tim may respond as they slowly try to wake him up. Here is the process:
* Tim’s body temp has been warmed up and within in hour should be at 98.6
* tomorrow the team will begin the process of seeing if Tim can handle having the ecmo machine (which is keeping his heart beating) lowered which would indicate if his heart is ready to beat on its own.
This process could take 5-7 days.
So for now....we are in a holding pattern of waiting and watching to see how Tim progresses.
We are relieved that Tim is still with us, yet praying for peace, comfort and wisdom.
Thank you all for your prayers!
