Although you are 1,000's of miles away....you hold a special place in our hearts on this, your special day. It is SO hard to believe, that 19 years ago today....December 18th at 12:15am....you came into this world on a snowy winter's night.
If you were here....a lot of this would be going on...
But, since you are half a world away.....we will celebrate your Birthday in your Honor! I'm guessing we'll need to head to Red Lobster...for those yummy biscuits, and your favorite chicken fingers. lol (Ok....maybe not, I'm sure Andrew would prefer STEAK....since you aren't here)
To top it off....we'll have this.....your favorite Princess Cake....yum-oh!
As you spend your first birthday away from home, know that we:
~*Love you more~*
~*Love you most~*
~*Love you morst~*
Sending big hugs and kisses.... and...Wishing you a VERY...Happy Birthday!!!
<3>xoxo
Happy Birthday, sweetie! How hard for all of you to have your sweet girl gone for her birthday.
ReplyDeleteWe are celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary this day and sure wish I had "princess cake" to eat in honor of you too : )
Kim, what is princess cake? Does it have a recipe? I'd love to make one for my princesses some day, too.
Pam~

They make WONDERFUL Scandinavian foods. If you go here:

Kim,
ReplyDeleteI remember the first time we celebrated our son's birthday when he was 1000 miles away at college.
Blessings to you today!
What sweet words for your daughter! Praying all is well with her while she is away...will she be home for Christmas?! I couldn't remember how long this mission trip was...a lot longer I am thinking....
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kim! Heading to get the recipe now.
ReplyDeleteKim~
ReplyDeleteAshley is gone until March. Her team left on 12/5 and are currently in Thailand.
Please keep them all in your prayers, as it's especially hard for them to be gone during the holidays!!
I'm anxious to hear her reaction when she received her SURPRISE Christmas shoe box filled with gifts/cards from her extended family! She will be SO excited.
