Matthew 11:30 says..."For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

The above picture, in a way is a great illustration of how often I remove myself from God's yoke...and choose my own way/path.

God has been speaking to my heart about taking on HIS yoke, verses carrying my own.   Stay tuned...I'm hoping to share my thoughts in the coming day.

    Oh my goodness, I love that picture. That would be a great picture to frame and hang in my home - always praying I take the path God has for me - too many times I detour :)

    thanks for my comment. I almost didn't get it. I just happen to be looking in my Bulk folder and saw it. Thanks for praying for me and you are so right. God is at work, He has been for a long time. We just now let go and let him do his work....

    Wow! What a perfect photo for what you wanted to convey. Like you, I'm often guilty of taking my own way over His, only to eventually come around. Sure wish I would get a little smarter! Thanks so much for sharing. This image will definitely stick with me. I'll be back to visit again soon!

    Love that photo! I used to always hear the work "yoke" and think...heavy, burden. Really a yoke is a wonderful thing. If we stay in it, He guides!! I can't wait to hear what you have to say in the coming days.

    I LOVE this photo. It has such beauty yet also such meaning behind it. It so simply portrays our lives and the paths we can choose to take. Shall we always hear His voice and know to take HIS way, HIS path, to be in HIS yoke.

    Oh - that picture reminds me of a snowmobiling location. Only, I didn't choose either path - I rode right up the middle and up the tree! hehe
